KMV Cleaning Service
TERMS AND CONDITIONS - In light of our mutual agreement for KMV Cleaning to provide cleaning services for a fee, both you (our client) and KMV Cleaning consent to the following terms and conditions:

Work Hours: Our standard business hours are from 8-4:30, Monday through Friday. Feel free to reach out to us between 9am and 3pm or email us at info@kmvcleaning.com.
Rescheduling and Lockouts: We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, and you may need to reschedule your regular cleaning time. If this happens, please notify our office at 251-243-1374 with a minimum of 2 business days’ notice. If we receive less notice or are unable to access your home upon arrival, a fee equivalent to 50% of your cleaning charge will be applied. Essentially, missed appointments will be charged based on your service rate (i.e., weekly to bi-weekly, bi-weekly to monthly). Appointments that are 6 weeks or more apart will be billed at an initial clean rate.
Sick Policy: If you or your children are ill with a contagious disease (flu, cold, pneumonia, chicken pox, Covid-19, lice, etc.), we kindly ask you to reschedule your cleaning. Although our cleaning process disinfects your house, there’s a chance that the germs could be transferred to another home or our cleaning staff could fall ill. To ensure fairness to all our customers and staff, please reschedule once you’ve recovered. KMV Cleaning will extend the same courtesy.

Payments: We will send an invoice to your provided email, which includes the option to pay by major credit card. We also accept cash and check payments. Please leave cash or check payments in a sealed envelope on the counter with your name and marked for KMV Cleaning. Payment is due on your service date. If payment is not received within 3 business days following the service date, a $15 late fee will be added to your account. While tips are not required, they are appreciated by our staff. If you choose to leave a tip, please place it in an envelope marked for your cleaning team. You will be responsible for all reasonable costs and expenses incurred by or on behalf of KMV Cleaning in connection with the collection of payment, including reasonable attorneys’ fees and expenses.

Supplies: KMV Cleaning will supply all necessary chemicals and towels for your home. However, you must provide a toilet scrubber for each toilet. We will not clean the inside of your toilets without these. We will inform you if these need to be replaced. If you prefer us to use your floor equipment, please note that we are not responsible for its maintenance or any damages resulting from lack of maintenance or damages caused by unmaintained equipment.

Temperature Control: While we strive to conserve energy and use programmable thermostats ourselves, please remember that physical labor is being performed in your home. Try to maintain a comfortable environment for our staff. The preferred temperature for our staff is 70-74*F.

Pet Clean-up: We understand that accidents happen. However, health regulations prevent us from cleaning up after these incidents.

No Solicitation: Please refrain from asking our employees about services that won’t be booked through our office. Due to the nature of our business and our Workman’s Comp Agreement, our cleaners are not available for side jobs, such as additional cleaning, babysitting, pet sitting, etc. Solicitation may result in a fine of up to $3000.

Items of Importance: We want you to know that our staff will do their best to handle all your items with care. However, accidents can happen. If you have items of great importance, please either inform our staff not to clean these items or store them away during our service.

Photo Disclaimer: Occasionally, we may post before and after photos on our social media accounts. We will ensure no personally identifying images are used.
Service Restrictions: We will NOT perform tasks that involve reaching heights inaccessible on our 2-step ladder, lifting and moving heavy furniture, moving appliances connected to gas or water, cleaning bio-hazardous substances (feces, blood, etc.), cleaning infested properties (rodents, bugs, etc.), laundry, carpet cleaning (although we can refer you to a great provider!), or servicing clients who are disrespectful to our staff.

Satisfaction: If you are satisfied with your cleaning, please spread the word to your friends and family! If you are not satisfied, please contact the office at 251-243-1374 immediately to rectify the issue.
